We've revolutionized the traditional boardroom, giving all professionals the chance to join an advisory board remotely through our innovative digital platform. Companies come to us seeking a wide range of expertise from their advisors.
The number of boards you can join depends on your level of membership, ranging from 1 board to Unlimited (see upgrade options).

You can view all of the public companies open to new advisors in our Advisory Board Directory.
We have two types of Advisory Boards available for you to join:
1. Companies who come to us to looking to for new advisors to join their board.
2. Peer Advisory Boards are for advisors looking to diversify and expand their network. Click here to learn more.
Each company has an overview page that provides additional background and expands on the various skills they are looking for in an advisor. You can also take an inside peek at the latest questions or updates to give you a clearer idea on the latest challenges or developments which can help add additional context.
Once you find a board that aligns with your interest and expertise, you can save it for later by clicking the star or you request to join and barring any conflicts of interest, you'll be accepted within 48 hours.
You'll receive a welcome letter within 48 hours of requesting to join a Company Advisory Board, which will unlock access to the Digital Boardroom.
Once you formally accept your role, you can tap into the company's benefits including the ability to add your affiliation as an advisor to your LinkedIn, resume, and other professional materials. Learn how.
You can also share your status as an Advisor for that company within your LinkedIn network, which can make you more attractive for future advisory work. Learn how.
The Digital boardroom works much like your favorite social media tools, featuring a feed of the latest content, questions, and updates from the company, as well as feedback from fellow advisors.
Most companies hold quarterly board meetings and you can integrate them into your calendar using the instructions below:
1. If the company has an upcoming board meeting, we recommend adding the event to your calendar immediately. Once you do, you'll be subscribed to all board meeting notifications.
2. If the company has already completed this quarter's board meeting, we recommend you subscribe to board meeting notifications to ensure you stay in the loop for when the next meeting is scheduled.

3. To learn more about the company's background, you can take a second look at the the company's overview page and view their website by clicking the icons below the company logo.
4. If you have feedback you'd like to share privately, you can send a direct message to the board owner and/or your fellow advisory board members. This is a great way to show initiative and grow your network. Click here to learn more about messaging.
5. Boardroom: This is where companies post questions and updates centered around their latest developments and business challenges. As an advisor, you can stand out by answering questions and using your unique perspective to help shape the future. You can also reply to other advisors which can help showcase your expertise.
6. Benefits: This tab explains the benefits you’ll receive for serving on this advisory board. You can add your affiliation, share your status as an advisor. Many companies offer additional benefits, which you'll be able to see under the Board Member Benefits.
Additional benefits may include compensation potential, equity-based opportunities, formal board seats and full time roles. Some companies may also offer additional perks specific to their product or service.
7. Answers: This is where you can easily see and reply to anyone who has engaged and responded to your answers. If you want to message of them directly, simply click on their photo to view their profile and begin engaging.
8. Meetings: This is where you can see all of the past and upcoming meetings for this board. It’s a good idea to go back and catch up after joining a board so you’re well prepared for the upcoming board meeting. Learn more about board meetings here.
